My most treasured role in this world is that of being a father and a husband. This is my family at the time I conceived Magic Pencil Girl. I would make up stories for the girl in this picture, my daughter, Lisa, about things that related to how her day went and challenges she may have had. I told hundreds. I wrote just twelve for the book. Here is my family at that time:
Robert
Lisa
Margaret
Pat
And here’s the rest:
Patric Peake, educator and counselor, has been principal of a Continuation High School for at risk teens, and an elementary school.
He has been on faculty of the University of Santa Monica and worked with students on their masters projects in psychology. He did this for the previous five years, 2006 to 2011.
This year, 2012, he graduated from University of Santa Monica with a new master’s degree in Spiritual Psychology with an emphasis on Consciousness, Health, and Healing
He has given workshops around the world in self-esteem, team-building, parenting, and drop-out prevention.
He has published articles on writing, story telling, and journal writing, as well as a manual on the M-14 rifle.
His current novel, Chainmail, is close to completion and searching for the perfect agent, and/or publisher.

Wonderful! Beautiful website and represents you very well. I love the simplicity and directness and ordinary loving. I’m so glad you are sharing yourself, Pat!
Dear Pat,
Thank you so much for sharing your blog with your friends. I look forward to checking it from time to time to see what kinds of pearls of wisdom you post. I really enjoyed seeing the photo of you and your family; your kids were so young then.
Many Blessings,
Zaccario
